The winner of the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija reality TV show, Mercy Eke has lost the sum of N5 million after betting against Chelsea FC to win the Champions league final against Man City.
Before the final between the two English footbal clubs, Mercy Eke took to her official Twitter page on Saturday May 29, 2021 stating that she was placing a 5 million naira bet on Man city winning.
However, Man City lost the match after a goal scored by Chelsea striker Kai Havertz condemned Pep Guardiola’s side to defeat as the noisy neighbours (Man City) sulked in defeat.
