The first son of the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is reportedly getting set to marry a princess from Kano, Zahra Bayero, who according to reports is an architecture student in the United Kingdom.
The report revealed by the Daily Nigerian stated that the couple’s wedding ceremony will take place “in the next two to three months”.
“Preparations are on top gear for the grand event. As the tradition provides, the parents of the groom have met with the parents of the bride to express Yusuf’s interest in marrying Zahra,” the source said, pleading anonymity.
The event would have allegedly taken place earlier, but due to the absence of the First Lady, Aisha Buhari at that time, the marriage was allegedly withheld.
“Now that his mother returned a few weeks to Ramadan [Muslim holy month], it is clear the wedding will take place after Sallah holidays,” the sources told Daily Nigerian.
