Self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’ Damini Ogulu popularly known in music circles as Burna Boy has clocked no fewer than one billion views on YouTube, a record which makes him the first Nigerian to achieve the feat.
The development was made known by YouTube which revealed that Burna Boy was able to record 1 billion views courtesy of a compilation of the views on all his music videos.
The online video sharing and social media platform owned by Google made this known on Burna’s page, which shows the ”Dangote” crooner amassing a total of 1,006,338,859 views at the time of filing this report.
Burna Boy’s hit songs like ”On The Low” contributed a massive 225M views while ”Ye” has 159M views.
