Burna Boy reveals follow-up album to “Twice As Tall” will be released in 2021

Self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’ Damini Ogulu popularly known in music circles as Burna Boy has revealed that the follow-up album to his Grammy Award winning collection titled “Twice As Tall” will be released in 2021.

The ‘Ye’ crooner who has also been nominated for the BRITS award made the revelation on April 30, 2021, during a conversation with British DJ and host, Zane Lowe on Apple Music Radio.

He said, “I’m definitely planning to drop my next album this year. Especially, at the same time I dropped the last one. I’m trying to do that as long as I can.”

The announcement came days after Burna Boy’s mum Bose Ogulu was named one of the ‘International Power Players’ for 2021 by Billboard.

The co-founder of Spaceship Collective, who also manages her son, was listed by Billboard for her efforts as the Executive Producer for Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album, Twice As Tall.

On her excerpt, Billboard wrote thus, “Amid the pandemic, Ogulu co-executive-produced, released and promoted the Twice As Tall album from Nigeria’s breakout global star Burna Boy (aka her son, Damini Ogulu).
