Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde popularly known as Daddy Freeze has reacted to the arrest of the Nigerian singer D’ Banj over alleged diversion of N-Power funds.
Recall that the former Mo Hits co-founder was arrested and detained by men of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) on Tuesday.
D’ Banj is accused of defrauding the Nigerian government out of hundreds of naira intended for the N-Power project, an empowerment initiative launched by the Nigerian government in 2016 to combat youth unemployment and advance social development.

In his reaction to the development, Daddy Freeze, who didn’t mention his name (D’Banj), pointed out the similarity between his actions and that of politicians.
He noted how the singer had committed an offence, Nigerians do accuse politicians of engaging in.
“A Nigerian celeb has been called out for allegedly doing what we accuse politicians of doing… Over to you guys…”.
