Multiple award-winning musician David Adeleke popularly known in music circles as Davido has reacted after the Supreme Court affirmed his uncle’s guber election victory.

Earlier today, the Supreme Court affirmed the of Governor Ademola Adeleke of the PDP in the July 2022 Osun state guber election following a petition by former Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

While reacting to the decision by the Court of Appeal to reverse the verdict of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, upholding Adeleke’s declaration as winner, Davido said that the battle has been long and it is time for freedom indeed.

Davido wrote thus on his official Instagram page ‘‘It has been a long battle. Congratulations to Osun people, it is indeed freedom time. The battle has been on for years but God has been with us. Congratulations everyone.
