Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie may have run afoul of a rule set by the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari on the need to desist from making ritual films after he proposed to his girlfriend on the set of Nollywood movie.
Recall that the order was issued on Monday February 21, 2022, by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed who disclosed that filmmakers in the country have been asked to avoid making money ritual movie contents.
According to Lai Mohammed who was speaking during a media visit to Daily Trust office in Abuja government’s decision to sanitise social media is hinged on confessions of some money ritual suspects.
However, in a new video posted on Instagram, Yul Edochie appears to be in a coffin however in what seems like a ritual movie but according to him it’s nothing related to rituals but rather his new and weird way of proposing to his partner.
