Despite being granted bail by an Accra High Court after she was found guilty of indecent exposure in front of her under aged son, Ghanaian actress Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo is still in jail.

This was confirmed on Thursday by the Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service ASP Samuel Kofi Opoku, during an interview with Christian Agyei Frimpong.

Opoku revealed during the interview with the show host of Onua FM’s entertainment talk show Anigye Mmre that Akuapem Poloo is currently in their custody at the Nsawam Female Prisons.

According to ASP Samuel Kofi Opoku, Akuapem Poloo was brought to them Thursday, April 22.

Recall that on April 21, 2021, an Accra High Court granted Akuapem Poloo bail after she was found guilty of indecent exposure in front of her under aged son while wishing him a happy birthday.

The court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey granted the convicted actress, Akuapem Poloo, ¢80,000 bail on Wednesday, April 21, with two sureties to be justified.

As part of her bail condition, Poloo has to report to the case investigator every two weeks and was also ordered to deposit her passport with the registrar of the court.

Justice Ruby Aryeetey ruled that she will only travel with the express permission of the court while adding that the applicant has satisfied the four grounds of bail pending appeal.
