The ancient city of Ibadan in Oyo State stood still on Friday, June 25, 2021, as many gathered to mark the first anniversary of the death of the former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Scores of friends and family members of the late leader turned up in their numbers to celebrate the life of Ajimobi who died last year from COVID19 complications.

Present at the well-attended memorial service were his wife, Florence, children and other family members.
