Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State is making good his move to disgrace the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido after the State Assembly passed the Executive Bill for the creation of four new emirates in the state which has been signed into law.
The bill which was signed on Thursday by Governor Ganduje at the Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano, has now paved way for the creation of four new emirates namely Bichi, Rano, Gaya and Karaye.
According to Ganduje who said all things pertaining to the new emirates were done to bring development closer to the people, the previous law which, was challenged in the court was sponsored by private hands, not his Government.
