Music executive and founder of the Supreme Mavin Dynasty (SMD) Don Jazzy had recalled his infamous fight with Olamide during the 2015 edition of the Headies musical awards ceremony.

Recall at the time that Don Jazzy had responded on stage after Olamide went off about how his signee at the time, Lil Kesh, deserved to win the Next Rated Award instead of Reekado Banks of Mavin Records.

According to Olamide, Lil Kesh’s singles were back to back hits from Lyrically to Efejoku and more. The YBNL boss also bounced off the stage with his team as he dropped the mic.

In his reply, Don Jazzy who mounted the stage moments later told Olamide to come and collect the car attached to the award if that was what he wanted.

While recalling the incident in an interview with TV personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the music producer admitted that he regrets the exchange which set social media on overdrive at the time.

He said; “I was not given time to process Olamide’s outburst before I was also called on stage. If I had been given some time, I would have reacted differently.

“Despite my reaction on stage, I was trying to make peace by saying Olamide should collect the car because I didn’t want trouble and it wasn’t that deep,” the music producer added.
