Fast-rising Nollywood actress, Tonia Anwulika Nweke has revealed how she was sexually harassed by a movie producer while she was on the set of a film in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The actress who made the claim while speaking out on sexual harassment in the movie industry, during an interview with Inside Nollywood said that she had to return to Lagos without playing the role simply because the producer demanded for sex.
She added that she felt so bad about the experience because the foolish movie producer was demanding for sex for her to secure the movie role she travelled all the way to Delta to secure.
“I’m not ready to sleep with any producer or director for a script. I was recently in Asaba for a movie shoot, but I had to come back to Lagos because the foolish producer was demanding for sex. I felt bad and surprised,” the actress said.
