The act of cloning the works of established musicians is gradually becoming a norm as Nigerian media personality; Adesope Olajibe has now raised an alarm about an impostor who makes money from copying Davido’s album online.
In post on Twitter on Thursday, Adesope exposed an anonymous person online who has done a replica of Davido’s album “A Better Time” dubbing his own cloned album “A Best Time on Apple music.
A close look at the cloned album on Apple Music reveals the cover art of the page showing the face of a child while the cover name also has Davido’s name spelt as DaVIDO.
Adesope took to his Twitter page to expose the impostor and also used the opportunity to reach out to Davido’s manager as he tried to draw his attention to the anomaly, on the online platform.
”What’s going on here? This is crazyyyyyyyyyy. This has to be pulled down immediately cc @davido @AsaAsika @bizzleosikoya,” the media personality captioned his post.
