Self-acclaimed investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has taken to her official social media account to explain why popular Nollywood actor Kunle Remi was not nominated for the forthcoming African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

The controversial journalist in a lengthy post on her social media page said that Kunle Remi was not nominated despite giving a standout performance in the film ‘Anikulapo’ because of his recent bombshell interview in which he claimed that a certain well-known person attempted to seduce him into homos3xuality.

According to Kemi Olunloyo, Kunle Remi was snubbed because he allegedly stepped on some toes in the industry following the interview he granted an online platform.

‘‘Why? Alleged ‘disrespect’ for a senior colleague. He was said to have been excluded because he allegedly stepped on some toes in the industry following an interview he granted an online platform some weeks back where he alleged that a certain popular figure tried to lure him into homosexuality. Shame that the same movie bagged 16 nominations and he didn’t get one. That’s the Nigerian movie industry for you.
