Kemi Olunloyo reacts to arrest of comedian DGeneral, says drug dealers, users should face the law

Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has reacted to the arrest of Instagram comedian Joshua Sunday popularly known as DGeneral and three others by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Recall that the NDLEA in a statement issued on by its spokesman Femi Babafemi stated that DGeneral and three others were arrested over drug-related issues in the early hours of Wednesday, January, 12.

Babalola said in the statement that the comedian was arrested following the raid of a notorious drug joint located at Orchid Estate, in the Lekki area of Lagos state.

In her reaction to the development in a post on Instagram, Kemi Olunloyo stated that NDLEA shouldn’t be blamed for arresting drug dealers and users because they need to face the law.

She wrote thus on IG;“Don’t blame the NDLEA for arresting drug pushers, users and traffickers. I’m a Pharmacist. The same way I slammed Juicewrld for swallowing all that Percocet on the plane when the DEA was waiting is the same way DeGeneral needs to get help for his drug demons.

‘‘He was in possession of Tramadol, a schedule 2 narcotic without prescription. These pill pushers need to face the law,’’ Kemi added.
