The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has confirmed the brutal murder of an unidentified woman whose vital body parts were removed and her lifeless body dumped along Kanikoko area of Kaiama in the northern part of Kwara state.
The murder of the woman was confirmed in a statement issued on Friday by the spokesperson for the NSCDC, Babawale Afolabi, who gave the name of the victim as one Hassana Mohammed (F) of Yarugaba compound Kaiama.
He said; “On Thursday, June 10, 2021 at about 1230hrs, one Hassana Mohammed (F) of Yarugaba compound Kaiama was murdered and her body dumped along Kanikoko Road, Kaiama, by some suspected ritualists.
“The deceased was not found at home and also not answering calls made to her phone. Security agents were alerted and the vigilantes, in search of the girl, found her dead along Kanikoko Road, Kaiama,” Afolabi added.
He said that the victim’s private part and breasts were removed by the suspected ritualists.
“She was buried on Friday after necessary examinations were conducted and investigation is ongoing to apprehend the perpetrators,” Afolabi added.
