Popular media personality Latasha Ngwube has taken to her official social media account to take a swipe at comedian Ali Baba for questioning the source of income of Nollywood actresses.

Recall that the humour in a video posted on social media queried actresses with questionable incomes.

According to him, these Nollywood actresses tension little girls with the things they flaunt which they allegedly acquired from other men who are funding their lifestyle.

Ali Baba posted this on social media; ”You are an actress, how many movies have you done that gave you N45 million to buy a house. You just joined the industry. The people that have been in the industry did not buy.

‘‘We went to Dubai one time and while we were waiting, I saw this actress come in and I had seen the protocol officer of a particular person… I greeted them and they greeted me and the person came and said ‘here is your key”. He gave her the key and she went upstairs… Then two days later I saw her posting ”lounging in Dubai” Can you buy your ticket? The ones that do business and make money we know them…You come and be putting girls on high jump.”

In her reply to the comments made by Ali Baba, Latasha Ngube said that Ali Baba’s comments smack of s3xism as there are many male actors engaged in illicit s3xual activity with older women and men.

In her reply to Ali Baba, the media personality wrote thus on social media; ”With all due respect Uncle Ali, I don’t think you’re the person best suited to take on this topic. I think it’s beneath you and smacks of sexism. There are many male actors who are also doing the “wrong things” and engaged in illicit sexual activity with (older) women for pay and even other senior men. Your approach sounds like an attack on women when we should be focused on all genders and the pressures they put men and women under with their deceptive lifestyle. P.s. even those you identified that do business, it’s still not guaranteed that their ways are pure.”
