Troubled Manchester City FC of England defender Benjamin Mendy (from France) is faced a new allegation of attempted rape after he appeared in court today.
The new allegation leveled against the football player was confirmed on the website of the Mirror Football on ( Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022).
During resumed court proceedings, the judge ruled that the new charge for the defender can now be reported.

Benjamin Mendy has now been accused of nine offences about six women and he is yet to enter a plea to all of these charges.
The presiding judge of the Chester Crown Court in the UK later set a pre-trial for March 11th, 2022.
The French international footballer who has been accused of a series of serious offences against young women, was freed after a bail hearing at Chester Crown Court last month.
