The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has filed a lawsuit against British broadcaster ITV, after its presenter, Piers Morgan critised her claims against the Royal Family.
The complaint filed by Meghan’s attorney focused on how the remarks of Piers Morgan who quit his role with ITV after the tirade may affect those trying to deal with their own mental health problems.
Filed on Thursday, the suit however did not focus its thrust on Morgan’s repeated criticism of her or allegations of racism, which has rocked the British monarchy of late.
Recall that Prince Harry accused the royal family of racism, while Meghan, a former television actress said she had suicidal thoughts during her time in Britain during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
