Tragedy struck at Oshodi area of Lagos when a young man identified as Segun Afuye was beaten to death by an angry mob after he reportedly stabbed his friend Elewure Sodiq to death.
Reports say the angry mob carried out the jungle justice after the deceased stabbed his friend to death when he found out that his friend (Sodiq) was sleeping with his girlfriend secretly.
Segun was said to have confronted Sodiq at a bar in the area for sleeping with his girlfriend Kafayat and stabbed him on the neck with a broken bottle during a fight.
Immediately after the tragic incident happened, the angry mob gathered Segun as they beat him to death before the police could reach the scene of the incident.
