The Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II has taken a new wife Olori Mariam Anako with reports revealing that the arrangements for the marriage started in March.
The video of the wedding ceremony which took place 10 months after Naomi Silekunola, the last wife of the monarch left him was shared online by Moses Olafare, Ooni’s Director of Media and Publicity.
This is the fourth time the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II is taking a new wife.

His last wife was Naomi Silekunola whom he married in 2018 and the marriage produced a son before their divorce announcement was made to the surprise of many in December last year.
Before Naomi, Ooni was married to Edo-born Zaynab-Otiti Obanor whom he wedded in 2016 after his coronation but the union lasted for 17 months before their separation.
His first marriage was in 2008 to Adebukola Bombata but the marriage failed.
