The death of Nigerian comedian Caleb Itietie aka Calibird, has been announced by close relatives who revealed that he died at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos state today March 27, after a brief illness.
The death of the stand up comedian was made known today by his colleagues who took to social media to express shock at his passing.
Comedian Efewarriboy while reacting to news of Calibird’s demise, wrote; ”Jeeeeeeesus I don’t understand this one ooooo. RIP MY BRO CALLI”
Comedian, Edopikin on his part, wrote; ”Hmmmm so na so this life just reach???
“I have never used this here before, but CALLIBIRD why bro why.
“Rest on bro, Rest on my colleague, Rest on my friend, rest on my brother”
The death of the comedian came days after the family of popular ‘Idi Nla’ hitmaker Alayande Lola Oladapo Quam popularly known as Lala have announced the death of their beloved son but stopped short at revealing the cause or circumstances surrounding his death.
Condolence messages have continued to pour in after the brother of the singer who was mostly known for his hit collaboration, Idi Nla, with late indigenous rapper, Dagrin, announced his death on Facebook.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Alayande Tunde Adisa who informed that the singer passed away on the morning of Tuesday, March 23, described Lala’s death as a painful one.
