The family of popular ‘Idi Nla’ hitmaker Alayande Lola Oladapo Quam popularly known as Lala have announced the death of their beloved son but stopped short at revealing the cause or circumstances surrounding his death.
Condolence messages have continued to pour in after the brother of the singer who was mostly known for his hit collaboration, Idi Nla, with late indigenous rapper, Dagrin, announced his death on Facebook.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Alayande Tunde Adisa who informed that the singer passed away on the morning of Tuesday, March 23, described Lala’s death as a painful one.
“Ina lilahi wa ina ilehi rojihun, with heavy heart I announce the death of my blood brother Alayande, Lola Oladapo Quam (LALA NLA) dis Morning. May Almighty God grant him eternal rest and gave us fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. He went too soon and a very painful loss,” Adisa wrote on Facebook.
