Obi Emelonye’s ‘Badamasi’ set to premiere at O2 Arena in London

The much-anticipated movie of Nollywood producer Obi Emelonye titled ‘Badamasi’ is set to open UK cinemas (at O2 Arena in London to be precise) as the first red carpet event post Covid-19 lockdown.

 

The premiere of the movie which portrays the former Nigerian military head of state IBB as a man with flaws but a deep sense of patriotism, will be staged on the 12th of June 12 at the O2 Arena.

This was confirmed on the Instagram page of the movie producer who featured actors including; Enyinna Nwigwe as Ibrahim Babaginda alongside Charles Inojie, Sani Danja, Yakubu Mohammed, Okey Bakassi, Kalu Ikeagwu, Julius Agwu and Erick Didie in the movie flick.

He wrote; “The cinemas are open in the UK and the first red carpet film Premiere anywhere in the UK is for.an African film. BADAMASI (Portrait of a General) premieres on June 12 and tells the compelling story of a great country and a powerful man in need of healing.”
