An openly gay Nigerian chef, Idowu Ayomide, has taken a swipe at Nollywood actor Uche Maduawgu for painting the LGBT community with his ‘stupidity’ stating that the thespian lied about his claim of being gay.
The controversial actor made a dramatic U-turn on his sexuality after he took to social media on Monday to declare that he is not gay. According to Uche, he claimed to be gay so he could fight for the LGBT community in Nigeria.
Uche Maduagwu who took to his official Instagram page to denounce his sexuality as gay said that he’s lost a host of movie roles and endorsements after he initially disclosed he was homosexual.
He also claimed in the post shared on the picture and video sharing platform that he has been dumped by his girlfriend despite her ”being aware that he was only fighting for LGBT right in Nigeria.”
Reacting to the claims made by Uche Maduagwu on his Instagram page; chef Idowu said that the actor should stop painting the LGBT community with his “stupidity.”
He wrote thus in reply; ”Stop painting the LGBT community with your stupidity, if you ever want to gain recognition in life, never you try to taint, defame and stained the LGBT community with your nuisance….oh you are scared of being lynched, attacked by homophobic person in Nigeria….do you think to become a GAY is an easy task, you come out with your full chest and still turning back…. being A Gay you have to be brave, strong and be powerful….
