Peter Okoye cautions Nigerians on need to safeguard their private phone conversations

Nigerian musician Peter Okoye who now prefers to be referred to as Mr P has taken to social media to caution Nigerians on the need to safeguard their private phone conversations.

The musician in a post on his official Twitter page shared this morning April 3, 2023, asked about the safety of private telephone conversations in his country Nigeria.

‘‘Dear Nigerians,

His comments come after a purported telephone conversation between Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, and David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, which was leaked to the public.

In the audio clip, Mr Obi asked Mr Oyedepo to help spread his message to Christians in the South-west and parts of North-central. He also told Bishop Oyedepo that the just concluded presidential election was a “religious war.”
