Police arrests four suspects who allegedly killed Kwara’s about to-wed

The long arm of the law has caught with four suspects who are allegedly involved in the murder of one Olokose Oluwasola for money ritual six days to his wedding in Patigi, Kwara State.

The arrest of the suspects was confirmed in a statement on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ajayi Okasanmi who also confirmed the arrest of the leader of the gang Mohammed.
According to SP Okasanmi, three other members of the syndicate identified as Mohammed Chatta, Jimoh Abdulateef and Madi Jeremiah have been nabbed.

“They confessed to the killing of the victim and burying him in a shallow grave inside the bush.
“They took policemen to the scene of the killing where the head of the victim and arm was severed and used for money ritual by Mohammed Kazeem, the leader of the gang.

The statement added, “The suspects stated in their confessional statement that the victim was lured into the remote part of Patigi where he was told the cow he paid for was tied, and on getting to the spot, he was shot and killed.

The victim, Oluwasola was murdered by his next door neighbour, Kazeem Mohammed, and his gang for ritual purpose on March 6, 2021, which was six days to his wedding.
