Controversial Nigerian singer Azeez Okikiola popularly known as Portable has apologised to his colleague David Adeleke aka Davido over the snide remarks he made during the Osun State governorship election which took place on the month of July.

Recall that Portable who was in support of the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Gboyeka Oketola had called out Davido who was in support of his uncle Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who eventually won the election.

During the heat of the election which saw Davido unfollow Portable on all social media platforms the ‘Zazu’ crooner made snide remarks at his senior colleague.

”Open your ears and listen. My father is not a rich man. I am glory. I am the one who made my family rich. Support who support you. They ran to unfollow us.” Portable said.

However, the rift may now have been settled as Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu Land, in Ogun State, Oba Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, made Portable apologize to Davido.

Moments after conferring Portable with a chieftaincy, the monarch called on the musician to apologise to Davido whom he described as he elder brother in the music industry.
