Troubled Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy will appear in court today June 26, to face retrial over two alleged s3xual offenses leveled against his person.
His trial set to begin at Chester Crown Court today with the French footballer facing one charge of attempted rape against one woman and rape against a second woman.
The 28-year-old defender who is set to leave Manchester City when his contract expires at the end of the month has denied all the charges leveled against him.

Jurors in his last trial, which ended in January, failed to reach verdicts on the two charges involving two different women.
The panel of seven men and four women had cleared the defender of six other counts of rape and one of s3xual assault against four women following a six-month trial.
