The rap lyricist was tackled on the social media platform by a user identified simply as @globaltechprints who called out Eldee the Don for not speaking on issues concerning Nigeria.

The rapper has now resumed commenting on issues concerning Nigeria when he defended IPOB’s demand of secession of the South-East region of the country from Nigeria.

Eldee in a series of tweets shared on his official time-line wondered how asking to leave Nigeria is considered a declaration of war; he also likened the situation to forcing a wife to stay in a marriage she no longer wants and threatening her with physical abuse for asking to leave.

“I’ve never really had a public opinion about IPOB but I need someone to help me understand how asking to leave Nigeria is considered a declaration of war. “I no wan do again” is simply that. Or am I missing something? I am sure I’m.

He wrote thus on Twitter; “It is like forcing a wife to remain in a marriage she no longer wants to remain in and then threatening her with physical violence for asking to leave.

“Apparently, Boko Haram and other self declared terrorist groups have not done enough yet to be worth dealing with “in a language they understand”, neither is the rapidly growing kidnap industry,” Eldee added.
