Music producer, Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as Samklef in music circles has tendered an unreserved apology to singer, Simi and other women after posting sensitive comments on social media about female singer Tems.

Last week, Wizkid shared a snippet of himself and Tems on set for the visual for the song, ‘Essence’, a move which soon generated varying reactions on Twitter.

In his reply to the post, Samklef tweeted, ““Everybody can’t wait to see Tems yansh. Me self dey wait. Who Dey dey wait with me?”

However, his comments did not go down well with singer, Simi who fired back at Samklef on Twitter for posting such sexist comments saying, “WTF is wrong with you.”

In a bid to justify himself, the music producer, in a series of now-deleted tweets, lashed back at Simi as he wrote, “Eye service better face front. U 2 know abi? U wan show yourself.

“Why didn’t u dm to take it down? But na u only pass abi? Simi. Toxic. @Symplysimi u ingrate. Cause u think say u don blow. I go delete that tweet. But u f up.”

After having a rethink about his comments on Twitter, Samklef has now penned an unreserved apology to Simi and other women for posting such a sensitive comment on social media.

Samklef wrote thus; “Hello everybody! My name is Samuel Oguachuba, aka Samklef. I am doing this video because I really want to apologise to the women out there based on my statement last week. I really apologise for what I said; and to Simi, I really apologise to you too.

“I wish you all the best in life. I am not perfect and I have my emotions too. I am not justifying my actions but I just want to say that I am sorry to everybody for my statement when I said women raised by single women are toxic. I really apologise for that statement and I want you guys to forgive me for my words.”
