R&B singer Bankole Wellington Banky W has taken to social media to lament the state of insecurity in Nigeria as he decried the continuous bad news coming out of the country each day.
The music executive who spilled his guts on his official Twitter account on Tuesday said that Nigerians are now numb to the bad news coming from different sections of the country.
The former head honcho of Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) further added in the post on the micro-blogging site that “it’s like we are in an abusive relationship with the country we love.”
“So much bad news in Nigeria every day… we’ve become numb to it. If it’s not murder and kidnapping, its unrest and people unfit for office calling the shots. It’s like we are in an abusive relationship with the country we love. It’s exhausting. It’s draining. It’s depressing,” Banky W wrote.
