Naija Ninja head honcho Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan has finally broken his silence after news made the rounds that he is currently battling throat cancer in a US hospital.
The entertainer shared a lovely family photo to celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan took to social media on Thursday to address the ongoing rumours on social media about his state of health
He used the medium to wish his Muslim fans the best and made sure to remind non-Muslims that it was not the time to kill ram adding that he cannot ignore the recent show of love from people and he would tell his story himself when he is ready and it would be the truth
Sound Sultan wrote thus on his official Instagram page; “EID MUBARAK to my lovely Muslim brothers and sisters. May Almighty Allah accept our fast as an act of Ibadah. INSTAGRAM !!! THIS IS NOT THE ONE WITH RAM.
“I must not ignore the massive show of love. Thank you all. I will tell you my story myself, it will be true then not false.”
This came a day after Baba Dee, the elder brother of Sound Sultan debunked claims that his younger brother is battling throat cancer.
Reports have flooded the social media space indicating that the talented rapper who is best known for his hit song titled ‘Mathematics is currently battling with the illness in an undisclosed hospital in the United States of America.
Further reports revealed that the 44-year-old is presently undergoing chemotherapy in a hospital in the US.
However, Baba Dee in a recent interview with Qed.ng, dismissed the rumours of throat cancer while confirming that the singer is indeed sick. Baba Dee assured that his brother is recuperating in New York.
Also, the report has been refuted by a social media user identified as @fepz_ who said that he spoke with Sound Sultan’s manager, who said the report is false and should be disregarded.
