Popular American rapper, Kanye West, who also recently turned a devout Christian, has sent Nigerians on Twitter into an overdrive after he remixed Davido’s popular song titled ‘IF’ in a choir procession.
Many were left surprised when Davido in a video he posted on his instagram page on Monday, December 16, showed Kanye and his choristers, including daughter North West singing during Sunday Service, and it was Davido’s ‘IF’ they remixed with some of the lyrics but others parts were changed to make it a Christian song.
Trust Nigerians to stir up a whirlwind of reactions as some of them on Twitter asked if Kanye paid Davido for his intellectual property before remixing his song which has over 96 million views on YouTube.
