Social media giants Twitter has endorsed the ‘E Choke’ slang (which has become a household statement) made popular by Nigerian superstar singer David Adeleke aka Davido with an emoji.
Davido took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to flaunt his newly acquired emoji endorsed by Twitter as his fans can now accompany their tweet with a live emoji which literally translates to the catchphrase.
‘E Choke’ has been used by celebrities on different social media platforms as his fans constantly consume and push his content on social media forcing Twitter to recently endorse the trend.
Davido wrote thus on Twitter after the slang was endorsed by the social media platform; “He wrote: “Even @jack know say #echoke.”
As of the time of filing in this report, the slang is occupying the second spot on the Twitter app with over 20k tweets.
