Tyson Fury reacts after beating Francis Ngannou by controversial split decision

British boxer, Tyson Fury aka Gypsy King has reacted after he survived an almighty scare against boxing newcomer Francis Ngannou by a controversial split decision.

Fury, who was knocked down in the third round by Ngannou battled back to knock down his opponent to secure a split decision victory on the judges scorecards.

A single point on the third card of a split decision saved the hundreds of millions of dollars in waiting for Fury to dispute with Oleksandr Usyk and preserved a shot at the honour of becoming the first undisputed world heavyweight champion for more than a decade.

Moments after the boxing bout, Fury admitted his surprise at the skills of UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, after he beat him by a controversial split decision on Sunday morning, October 29.

“He’s given me one of my toughest fights in the last 10 years’ “That definitely wasn’t in the script.” Fury said.

“He’s one hell of a fighter. He’s strong, a big puncher, and a lot better as a boxer than we thought he would ever be.”
