Yeni Kuti, the oldest child of late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti has denied reports that her younger brother Seun Kuti disrespected the Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu during her 60th birthday.
She was forced to deny the report after her brother created a scene at her 60th birthday dinner as he expressed his displeasure on sighting Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the event.
Reports say Seun was miffed after he was prevented from breaking the security protocol after the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwoolu arrived at the party.
Seun was reported to have been prevented from walking behind the governor who was already seated.
He was later filmed walking out in anger on the Lagos state Governor after he showed up to felicitate with his sister.
While reacting to the report on her official Twitter page, Yeni Kuti explained why Seun was angry at the party and dismissed insinuations that he was disrespectful to the governor.
