One of Nigeria’s thriving record labels Aristokrat Records has announced the signing of a new female artiste, Gloria Asene Enebi popularly known as Ria Sean.
The singer and songwriter who is jointly signed onto Aristokrat Records & Island Def Jam Recordings were born and raised in Nigeria where she grew up singing in the church choir.
She embarked on her musical journey professionally at the age of sixteen drawing influence from artists such as Brandy, Chris Brown, Whitney Houston, and Frank Ocean.
A statement issued by Aristocrat Records after the signing ceremony reads this in part; “We are glad to announce the signing of Rea Sean. Her single “Lemonade” is produced, mixed, and mastered by Randy.
“The sultry track describes a fiery, all-consuming love story where the couple finds themselves in an endless cycle between love, hate, and intense passion.
“The music video directed by Perliks Definition will tell the story of the different stages of a toxic relationship.
Ria Sean was also featured on the compilation album: Sounds from The Basement Gig – Vol. and has also worked with multiple artists like; Leriq, Adekunle Gold, Moelogo, and Goodgirl LA.
