Anthony Joshua’s team officially accepts to fight Tyson Fury but on one condition

The team representing former British boxing heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has officially agreed to finally trade punches with Lineal heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.

Eddie Hearn and Matchroom boxing, the team representing Anthony Joshua have now confirmed that Fury’s promoter sent over written terms for a potential bout this year and AJ has since accepted.

According to Hearn, Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has offered a 60/40 split purse for the fight and also included a rematch clause in the deal and while also proposing for the fight to take place on November 12th this year.

Joshua and his team have accepted the terms, but only on the condition that the fight takes place on December 17th instead.

Recall that Joshua had earlier agreed to square up with Fury after he called him out on social media requesting for a showdown since Oleksandr Usyk said he won’t be ready to fight again until next year.
