Former Big Brother Naija 2017 housemate, Eriata Ese, has taken to social media to reveal why regrets being a public figure as she laments over the disadvantages of being a celebrity.
The reality TV star took to her Instagram page on Monday to reveal that if she had known the stress associated with being in the spotlight, she would have opted to be a makeup artist.
According to Ese who is an enterpreneur, celebrities or public figures as it were cannot live their lives on a low as they used to and have to remain relevant on the scene through competition.
“If I was able to see ahead, I wouldn’t have wished to be a public figure; would have continued as a make up artiste or something else. It is totally a different ball game form what I expected.
“The passion to exhibit my talent is what is holding me down. The fact that one has to wake up to negativity once is a while is crazy, even when you try to be your lowest key, there’s always that one person who wants to bring your leg out just because you are a public figure and you’ll make headline,” Ese wrote in part.
