The qualified candidates in the ongoing music reality TV show The Voice Nigeria Season 3 have moved on to the next stage after talents within the same team were paired to compete against each other to get a chance of advancing to the Live Shows.

The battle to move onto the next stage started as TeamFalz Dapo and Peace were the first pair to perform at the Knockouts, gracing the stage with their ‘Coming to America-inspired’ costume and outstanding performance of Beyonce and Shatta Wale’s ‘Already’.

After an impressive performance on stage, the four made positive comments about the pair but it was up to their coach, Falz to make a decision about who will head to the Live shows as he opted for Dapo which ultimately ended the journey of Peace in the ongoing reality TV show.

Next up was TeamWaje as Elizabeth and Nuel Ayo battled it out for a place in Live shows as they both rendered Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ and wowed the coaches in return but in the end Waje picked Elizabeth for showing her growth, skill, tone and control during the performance.

There was another music battle for TeamWaje as the pair of Inioluwa and Ayokunmi were both tasked to deliver a rendition of Nobody by DJ Neptune ft. Joeboy, which they did forcing the coaches to commend their delivery but as usual only one contestant will make it to the next round and Waje confirmed the lucky contestant when she picke Inioluwa.

Rounding up this week’s episode, the contestants under the umbrella of TeamFalz, including; Naomi Mac and Tamara were asked to perform ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’ by Reekado Banks and after their performance Falz chose Naomi Mac who will join the other contestants on the Live show.
