Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemate Venita Akpofure has taken to social media to reveal why leaving her ex-husband and her former marriage is one of the toughest decisions she has made in her life.
The actress and model who opened up in an interview with PUNCH said that it became known to the public about seven months after I had moved out of my matrimonial home thus parting ways with her husband Terna Olusola Tarka whom she has two daughters for.
She added during the interview that being a single mother is not easy, especially if one works a lot adding that she had to multi-task to make sure she’s there for her daughters.
Venita said; “One of the toughest decisions I have made was leaving my marriage. It became known to the public about seven months after I had moved out of my matrimonial home.
“I am grateful that I had a great support system that really helped me through that period. Being a single mother is not easy, especially if one works a lot. I had to multitask to make sure I’m there for my kids.
“I don’t consider being in the limelight as a fulfilment. Fulfilment, for me, comes from within, which is when I am meeting personal goals and providing for my kids,” she noted.
