Fani-Kayode tears into Toyin Lawani over racy nun outfit, says its anti-Christ, ghetto rubbish

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has bared his fangs at controversial fashion designer, Toyin Lawani, over the racy nun outfit she wore to a movie premiere movie over the weekend.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who took to micro-blogging site, Twitter to spill his guts described the outfit by Toyin Lawani as anti-Christ and ghetto rubbish.

FFK wrote thus; ”Disrespectful, tasteless, tactless, shameless, bestial, blasphemous, heretical, disgusting, provocative, outrageous, anti-Christ and totally and completely unacceptable. This is not art: it is GHETTO RUBBISH!

“I forgot to add that it is also EVIL!” he added.

In her defense, Toyin Lawani in an Instagram post averred that Nigerians have refused to be liberated when it comes to fashion and depicting themes.

The stylist, who insisted that costumes that have the crucifix don’t mean it is a sign of disrespect, alleged that Nigerians would have loved her costume if it was worn by international celebrities.
