The former aide of David Adeleke aka Davido simply identified as Aloma has revealed that he was offered N100 million in 2017 to write a statement that Davido was responsible for the death of his friend, Tagbo.
Recall that Davido’s close friend Tagbo Umeike died on his birthday shortly after he was seen partying with Davido and his friends in a night club on the island on October 3rd 2017.
Tagbo was buried in his hometown in Nnewi, Anambra state in October 2017. The news of his death was announced by Nollywood actress, Caroline Danjuma, who claimed to be a close friend of the deceased.
In a recent interview with singer Jahbless, Aloma claimed that while in the Lion Building, the DPO, Tagbo’s lawyer, and someone else he wouldn’t name, told him he was the “fall guy”.
When asked who offered him N100 million to frame Davido, Aloma said he won’t name drop the person that tried to offer him money to implicate Davido.
Aloma stated that shortly after the death of their friend, he was arrested for murder. He mentioned that he spent 18 days in an overcrowded cell, and at a point, he was offered N100 million to indict Davido, saying the singer killed his friend, Tagbo.
Aloma revealed that they had written many statements because of the case, but they were mandated to write another statement saying that Davido killed Tagbo.
