MI mourns legendary lyricist DMX, says he’s the ‘greatest rapper’

Nigerian rapper Jude Abaga better known as MI (Mr Incredible) has reacted to the sudden death of New York rapper Earl Simmons popularly known as DMX who passed on after a heart attack.

The former Vice President of Chocolate City Music label took to his Twitter page to mourn the death of the rapper who gave up the ghost on Friday in White Plains, N.Y at the age of 50.

In a series of tweets on his official Twitter handle, MI defined DMX as the greatest rapper for him, as he described him as the reason he took up a career in the rap game.

MI wrote thus; “The greatest rapper to me… The reason I started rapping has passed on.

“I promised myself I would meet you one day… Now I know my bucket list will never be completed.

“Rest in peace Earl… The world was not fair to you but you did your best!

“I love you forever,” the rapper concluded.

DMX (Dark Man X) kicked the bucket, days after suffering a heart attack triggered by drug overdose.

The death of the rapper was admitted to White Plains Hospital in New York City earlier this month was confirmed by his family on Friday which described him as a warrior who fought to the very end.
