American rapper Kanye West is now richer by $30 million after a documentary series of him spanning two decades of his life was acquired by popular movie streaming platform Netflix.

The documentary now acquired by Netflix will feature never-before-seen footage of Kanye West, and will explore his extensive music and fashion careers, his failed and legally questionable presidential campaign in 2020, and the death of his mother, Donda.

A report by Billboard revealed that the streaming service purchased the miniseries for “upwards of $30 million” from music video producing team Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah, who has been documenting the rapper’s movements over the past two decades.

The yet-to-be-titled project is reportedly set to debut on Netflix later this year and it is also not known if details about West’s pending divorce from reality TV star, Kim Kardashian-West will be included in the documentary.
