A Kogi State-based clergy identified as Pastor Michael Samson was beaten into a coma by a group of persons for daring to stop them from displaying their masquerade in his church.
The incident happened on Tuesday when the assailants attacked the cleric in charge of the United Evangelical Church in the Iyano community under the Ibaji Local Government Area of the State.
The Kogi State Police Command is reported to be on the trail of the suspects who attacked the clergy who denied the masquerade access to his church while there was an ongoing ceremony.
