Paul Okoye of P Square fame clocks 1m subscribers on YouTube, receives golden plaque

One-half of defunct music group P Square, Paul Okoye who is now know as Rudeboy has hit one million subscribers on video streaming site YouTube.

The dreadlocked singer who decided to go solo after parting way with his twin brother Peter Okoye aka Mr P also received gold plague from YouTube for hitting one million subscribers.

The elated singer who could not hide his joy and latest achievement took to his official Instagram handle @iamkingrudy in a video clip, to share the news.

In the video he showed off the gold plaque sent to him from the headquarters, where he also acknowledged the fact that his fans had earlier earned him a silver YouTube plaque.

The video post on social media was accompanied with a caption thanking his supportive fans and he also thanked YouTube revealing also that he got a hundred million views on a single track.

“Thank you very much @youtube Dear #firedepartment it’s GOLD baby!! 1m subscribers and 100m views on a single track musically rude @lorrdsky we did it ,” he wrote.
