South African humour merchant Trevor Noah has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari for banning the operations of Twitter in Nigeria after the social media giants deleted the tweets of the Nigerian leader.

The comedian who reacted to the development on his official Instagram page said that African Presidents will always remind the world what a real dictator looks like by taking unilateral actions.

The anchor of The Daily Show also added that what the ban meant is that when the most powerful person in a country is angry with any social media platform, he can stop others from using it.

He however noted that with the move by the Nigerian government to ban the social media platform former US President, Donald Trump will be jealous over the decision made by Buhari.
