Singer Efya reacts to rape of Nigerian lesbian in Ghana, says rapists should be ‘castrated’

Popular Ghanaian singer Efya has reacted to the reported rape of a Nigerian lesbian based in Ghana identified as Elladeevah Ellios who was taken advantage of by four men.

Elladeevah Ellios had taken to Facebook to reveal her ordeal claiming that she was drugged and raped for two days by four unknown persons after a night out in Accra, the capital of Ghana.

In the post on Facebook, Elladeevah said that she is currently at the Cantonment Police Hospital receiving treatment. She also stated that she needs all the support she can get as her life has “come to an end.”

She wrote on Facebook; “I was recorded, drugged, and raped for 2 good days!! Current location Cantonment Police Hospital… I need all the support I can get ?????. My life has come to an end, I want to die,” the lesbian wrote.

While reacting to Elladeevah’s ordeal, Efya who reacted on her official Twitter page described the act as “disgusting” and further stated that no one should be a target of rape because of their sexuality. She went on to call for castration of rapists.
